hats off to the CAA, they did do a bit of ground...

hats off to the CAA, they did do a bit of ground work with me before charging for the medical. I had to demonstrate that I could evacuate a simulated passenger from a PA28 whilst in the left hand...

A very serious question regarding future employment

Hello all,

I'm more of a reader than a poster so you probably won’t know me.

My history is PPL with class 2, 75 hours and a right leg below knee amputation.

I am booked in for a Class 1...

there is one a tad closer to the runway than that.... the travellers field is next to the motorway.... im not sure what the field next to the road is used for - i think it is a farmers field (sheep)

Sweaty palms & Flying gloves

To be blunt, i suffer from very sweaty palms when i fly and i find it most uncomfortable.

would flying gloves help? i have seen a nice leather pair wth very short cuffs (pleasing to the eye!?!)
