New Safety: Professional vs Practical viewpoints

A Guide To Practicing “New Safety” is a collection of views from several 'safety' professionals; - 'The New View, HOP, Safety Differently, Safety-II, No Safety, Resilience Engineering, and More'.

The guide is based in four questions:-
How would you define “new safety?”
What’s the most important thing a safety professional should know about new safety?
How would you recommend a safety professional begin implementing new safety?
What resources do you recommend people check out to learn more about new safety?

Many comments see workers as an asset, the source of practical expertise, engaging in real risk management. If so, then how would the workers - you, me, us - the professionals in aviation facing daily safety issues consider the new view questions.
How might the guide be rewritten by those at the sharp end vs the management or regulator 'academics'?
