USN Accident statistics Help Please.

I recall reading a report done by the USN about accident/incidents that found that there was a much greater accident risk in the days just after or before going on leave or liberty.
This was a report done in the late 70s early 80s I believe.
Does anyone recall this or have a clue as to where I may find it?

Thanks.

I recall it, but that was back in the pre internet days as you say.
I'll ask a few friends still around in the business and see if it is still floating around.
Give me a few days.
