Professor Helen Muir OBE | Cranfield University Obituary

My deepest sympathies to all friends and relatives to a lovely lady, who also was a superb and effective researcher into aviation safety.

That's terribly sad news. Just as with Roger Green, aviation has lost a wonderful contributor to safety way before their time.

As a Cranfield graduate, I attended some of Professor Muir's lectures, and mightily amusing and informative they were, too.

Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me join in the evacuation trials they held using the old Trident Three as there were strict height and weight limits in place to stop 6 foot+ rugby players like me barging everyone else out of the way.
