Been around for some time and its still good for a laugh, but during that time CFIT accidents continue to occur. Operators should take a look at other checklists, make an evaluation, and take defensive actions; one of which is to fit TAWS. There are still many airlines / aircraft flying without this excellent safety device. FSF CFIT Checklist second bullet point, available in several languages.

Thanks Safetypee. Thats quite a bloodey good CFIT ref.


Im looking at the evaluations of the boondocks of China which I regularley have to go to - and Im gettin scared at the numbers!
