Hi all,
Anyone who has good mountain flying experience care to share with me?
Im aware of most altimeters errors,turbulence,winds..but all is theory..got the chance to be based in Denver but was a few years ago.
If you have personnal experiences on saftey related to this flying, please share them here.

M.85,
You could try this for a starter.
It will take some time!
Then find as many Old mountain pilots and listen to each one carefully and then get one of them to take you on a mountain flying trip on a windy but flyable day. Then you will have learned about 1% of mountain flying and so you can get going and enjoy some of the most uplifting[ literally] flying you will ever do! Always, always listen to local advice if it is available. Mountain Gliding Clubs also have a wealth of local knowledge.

I recommend you to go flying with a person flying regularly in the Alps. I fly in there for 12 years and I still learn some on each flight!
You have to set up your own limit and be humble in front of mountain weather...
