This is true, I have never come across White Airways. Seeing that they fly wetlease for TAP makes me assume that they have at least an operational standard allowing them to pass an IOSA safety audit.

I seem to remember Aer Lingus (Stoddart) had a similar incident a year or so ago. Same A/C Type, same symptoms!

Another "Assault Landing on innocent runway"
 
KiloB there are many. Almost SNAFU now, unfortunately.

This accident brings to mind B735 Jos Nigeria, 2010, which hit Pprune, via Centaurus, with the thread title
"B737 Assault Landing on innocent runway"
