Problem on 'Gangdor' [sic] flight

Today's breaking news:

>>>Troubled plane lands at Shannon safely
04/05/2003 - 17:55:51

A plane flying from London to Canada has been forced to make an emergency landing at Shannon airport because of engine failures.

The pilot declared an emergency when the third engine on the aircraft had to be shut down.

There were 260 passengers on board the flight.

The plane, en route to Gangdor in Canada, landed safely at Shannon at 4.45pm this afternoon.

The aircraft is now being repaired and will resume its journey later this evening.<<<

Looks like the spelling of some 'professional' newswriters is almost as bad as some of our own posters'!

Any more news on this incident?

Sounds like a charter DC-10. I seem to recall that they like to stop in Gander when going East->West across the pond.
