Unhappy Airtours pension scheme down -9.7% !!

Just received my airtours pension statement, and it shows a drop of 9.7%,! (between Mar. 2000 - Apr. 2001), the previous year it was down about 3%, they gave me the usual 'markets are down' excuse when I rang them, last time I checked about 18 months ago they used Sedgewick Noble fund managers now they are using William Mercer.

Airtours can't seem to find a decent fund manager, at this rate my pension will be worthless in a few years!

Talking

Never mind. The 20% increase we are in line for should more than make up for it!!!

William Mercer are not fund managers. They are investment consultants who advise on the selection of fund managers. Dig a bit deeper mate.
