Emergency Landing at STN
Just heard very brief details on the radio. Anyone have any details?
GA
The local news is now saying that it was a Channex 737, 100+ pax. Landed safely after suffering hydraulic problems.
Glad it turned out ok for all involved.

1 AIR Landing
An airliner carrying more than 100 passengers made an emergency landing at Stansted, airport officials said today.
The Boeing 737 reported hydraulic problems while approaching Stansted late last night, said an airport spokesman.
Officials said the plane landed safely without any problems.
“The pilot reported that he had hydraulic problems as he was approaching for a scheduled landing,” said the airport spokesman.
“We put in place the emergency procedure in case there was a problem. But in the event there was no problem. The plane landed normally and the passengers left the aircraft normally. These things happen from time to time.”
The plane was operated by a company called Channel Express.
