Glad to hear all involved are ok.

Rupetime etc, I think the point was you made your insensitive, flipant remark before the outcome of the accident was known. No harm in waiting a little longer next time.

Nothing wrong in humor about a tragedy among folks who are mostly disassociated with the personal side of things. Investigators do it all the time to relieve and reinforce the "thank God it wasn't me" reaction.

Obviously something went to #%@%&$! at a critical moment and the pilots pulled a survivable forced landing out of the hat in next to no time.

A rare piece of work in any twin.

And their reward -- spending the holidays filling out stacks of forms

Press are claiming that bird remains have been found near by and that a bird strike is the most likely cause.
