CALGARY - Three West Jet flight attendants were taken to hospital Saturday after an aircraft suddenly dropped for a few seconds when it hit an air pocket.
The women smashed into the plane's ceiling before falling to the floor during a trip from Comox, B.C. The aircraft plummeted between 30 and 60 metres.
No passengers were injured.
The flight attendants were rushed to a Calgary hospital as soon as the plane landed. Three ambulances were waiting next to the runway.
Medical staff said the women had neck and back pain, but the extent of their injuries was not clear.

Classic journalism.
How many of us have hit an "air pocket"? Not to mention that the 737 "plummeted" 30-60 metres. The FA's "smashed" into the ceiling.
Read's like a Batman comic strip.
Anyway, all the best to the crew involved.
