Captain Bob Rowley...RIP
In a week that has witnessed such an extraordinary loss of life, please spare a thought for the family and friends of Bob, Ops Director of British Mediterannean Airways, who finally lost his fight for life last Friday.
Bob had suffered for some time, following a brain tumour. In spite of his suffering, what amazed everybody was his immense resolve and determination; his strength and personality was a shining light to all that knew him.
I shall always remember Bob as a very generous, kind hearted, gentle, family man; those that worked and flew with him will also remember him as a very accomplished and professional aviator.
My condolences to his wife and family. Rest in peace, my friend.
