Post Manchester Airport Security

There's good news, bad news - and worrying news.. .. .The good news is that during a recent trip from CDG to Toulouse, my Swiss army penknife that I lost during a trip to the US was found. The bad news (for me) was that the French security personnel who picked up the dodgy shape of a penknife in my sponge bag (in my hand luggage)confiscated it.. .. .The worrying news is that I had just flown from Manchester to CDG and sailed through Manchester's so called security without any problem whatsoever.. .. .So much for better security post-Sept 11th
