My friend that’s not a rapid descent - not even close! Equates to roughly 1600 feet per min which by any accounts is fairly gentle.

RoD was around 2800 fpm for almost 5 minutes, so a tad faster then the OP's estimate, though still no danger of spilling one's G&T.

Haha I never had access to that information so gave an average ROD. 2800 FPM I see every day and more. Can’t comment on what happened during said flight but descent rate nothing to write home about.
