Volaris A320 hit by a luggage cart in LAX on the active

Any idea how a luggage cart ended up floating down the active at LAX? Any news on this since it happened?

Appears to have happened on 17th February this year.

A/c remained at LAX for 4 days, presumably awaiting an engine or at least a nose cowl change.
