Egyptair 804 underwater search has formally ended?

The John Lethbridge which had such an important role in the underwater search and recovery is now sailing southwest of Crete on a westerly course.

According to the Egyptian investigation it had just completed an additional week of search and recovery, but this last week outside the original search area.

This must mean that the search offshore has now been completed. And all recovered remains and debris have been transported to Alexandria and probably on to Cairo.

There has been no news about the origin of debris found on an Israeli beach.

There is no formal confirmation of this yet.
