HS 748 cargo down
News this morning.
Operator 747 Air Services
Lobal Airlift cago charter for Lutheran Church.
Aicraft HS 748
Crew: 3. 2 Pilots + 10 goats perished.Loadmaster survived.
Likely cause : fire
Location; South Sudan. Veered and destructed upon landing with one engine shut down.
Time : 1530 LT
At least 4th kenya registered cargo turboprop in an accident this year2nd HS 748 on a landing accident.Other turboprop crahes involved Kenyan reg Fokker 50s one in Nairobi and 2 in Sudan and Somalia earlier this year.
