There are NO large Russian airlines flying Russian planes any more.

You´re being pedantic DouglasFlyer. Yes, it would be wrong to say there are no large Russian types flying at all, but there are now very few serviceable examples. Certainly way too few to replace their western fleet. They could no doubt eventually get some of their own back in the air but it would take time and lots of dough.

Leasing companies

If one company tried to recover its aircraft when it was in the West, would other aircraft be allowed to leave for the West knowing the repeat would occur?
