G-STRC and D, the 2 737-700's have arrived in Lasham (In Midway colours) for delivery in May.

First passenger flight scheduled for Saturday 6th April.

So it is written! The AOC, tomorrow no doubt.

Well done to all, and much success and many good wishes for the future of Astraeus.

Fantastic to see, during this period of airline failures and retrenchment, a start-up taking to the air.

I wish you the best of luck (not that you will need it) and I am sure the PPRuNe cadets will repay your faith in them with spades.

ps Whats the callsign?

Many congratulations to all concerned.

Apart from being a positive breath of fresh air in these uncertain times, it’s been great reading about it unfolding on PPRuNe!

Thumbs up

Just arrived back from the flight as a pax. All went exceedingly well and there is jubilation at the prospect of the first commercial flight on Saturday.

Congratulations to everyone who has worked very hard to get this project off the ground in record time. Roughly three months from start-up to first flight.

Its a good crack, as they say. Not at all a bad effort in these dodgy times. If I remember rightly Brad Burgess started Cityflier out of the ashes of Air Europe. He must know well the current business climate.

I hope the crews get a good deal out of all this.

Best of luck to everyone.

Good luck to all concerned for the future. I saw the aircraft arrive and it looks pretty good in the flesh.

What time does the first flight leave on Saturday?

Regards

Paul
