EVA Air B744 Runway Excursion RCTP
Rumor has it that there was a lot of grass and debris found on the bogie/truck and also flap tracks during the post-flight inspection.
Word has it from the Evil Empire that the captain has blamed the first officer, who was PF citing rain, crosswind, first officer's inexperience. Given the Asian culture and start of the "blame game", it is almost a certainty that there was an unauthorized scenic tour of the airport (other than along the runway).
Airplane removed from service pending a detailed inspection.
