Thumbs down Italian CAA gone "weird"?

Was the last 2 weekends in Bolzano (LIPB), during a skydive event.

The Italian CAA had issued "enhanced security measures" that required ALL OF OUR SKYDIVERS go thru x-ray and the metall detector ?!

All the while the gates where open and folks could walk unscreened to the pack area (there was a police car there but man the guys weren't even looking)

Also there were extensive ramp checks for myselfe and a few Buissness jets that flew in while i was there..

They doing that everywhere or just Bolzano?
