The flight from Godo Olo to Paramaribo had 2 crew and 6 passengers on board, all seem to have perished.
The plane was an Antonov 28

I get the impression that this was not the third fatal crash in one year, but the third crash in two years. An An-28 crashed on 3 April 2008 killing 19, and another on 15 Oct 2009 without fatalities, according to Aviation Safety Network.
Either way, makes you think this airline could be one to avoid.

I stand corrected, it is indeed 2 years, bad enough as it is.....
Press in Holland reports the crash occurred through engine fire resulting in "explosion" , no sources given. The bodies have been recovered now.
