BA BATTLE LINES DRAWN
My contact in BA's little dream world tells me that a senior manager has declared that the pilot pay offer 'will be 2% and that is it'!
Of interest to any applying for jobs and investors?
Could be stormy skies ahead!

Apparently MJ uttered those words or ‘RPI and that’s it’ to be more precise. His CEO is reported to have accepted that because of market conditions, the pilot salary negotiations will be carried out beyond the corporate norms.
Mention now of a FROD (Friend of Rod) being specially brought over from Fragrant Harbour to eat baby pilots alive and boil their children.
These negotiations will be tough, but with a little pragmatism from the company and a little courage from BALPA we’ll have a worthy settlement.
If not – Aux armes, citoyens!

Tandemrotor,
<<I guess we are all going to find out whether BALPA really do have any backbone>>
You are confusing Balpa - the Association of Airline Pilots - with the members of Balpa employed by BA. Only the BA pilots can decide if they have any backbone - not the Association.
