Aaliyah plane only scheduled for 5 passengers
Strange to believe, but into today's N.Y Post, the owner is referred as saying that the contract he went into with Aaliyah's party called only for 5 passengers and not 8.
Gilbert Chacon, president of Blackhawk International Airways told Lantana Aiport Manager (this is the airport in the Bahamas from where the fight left), "With Five Passengers everything would have been fine".
Meanwhile some family members of the victims have started hiring lawyers. "This was definitely a wrongful death" said Becky Gallin, the ex-wife of Aaliyah's bodyguard, Scott Gallin and mother of his 3 children. All this according to the N.Y Post today.
