Post Chris Darke...Freebies?

Rumour has it that Chris Darke is in reciept of Staff travel from BA. The rumour goes that he recently travelled to SA in first class on a staff travel ticket.

Anybody know the facts?

Any other companies have a cosy relationship with our union leader?

A friend of mine had him on a BA flight earlier in the year. Not sure if it was a staff ticket though.

He mentioned that BA Flightcrew should not expect too much from the paydeal this year.(In stark contrast to the mighty gains of the last 5!!!!!).

If he is in receipt of staff tickets then he is compromising his bargaining position and his post would be untenable.

How about we pay for him to travel in return for a fair settlement at least equal to Lufthansa and Iberia to put us only marginally closer to our American cousins?

have close connections with Lord Lichfield
and Vidal Sassoon - just throw those long
locks to catch the light daaaaarling !

Not only does Chris Darke NOT get staff travel benefits with BA, but BA pilot reps are PROHIBITED by BA from using their ST benefits when attending Balpa/Ifalpa meetings. IE, they may use their benefits for 'holiday' purposes only.

BA Flight Ops Managers have little respect for their line pilots and loath their pilot reps. They believe that what BA pilots shoud do is 'as they're told'.

I agree about the hairdresser though!
