Question AC-Skyservice?

Just heard this rumour: Air Canada is to transfer some CP six sevens to Skyservice in preparation for a "No Frills" trans-Atlantic service from Hamilton Mountain. The rumour has it that they will serv 3 UK destinations with Stanstead being one of them. Like Stanstead, the other two destinations will not be airports presently served by AC. Can anyone verify/discount or elaborate on this rumour?

I will try to get you more information. I can't see this happening, Skyservice doesn't have any 767 pilots and they just sold one of their A330's (the Roots Air one). Since Skyservice already operates 330's wouldn't it have made more sense to keep their second 330?

As far as I know the Canadian Competition Bureau hasn't approved any Air Canada - Skyservice joint venture yet.

I'll try to get more info.
