Catania runway closure due to damaged aircraft

One of our planes is stuck at LICC. Apparently the runway is closed due to a damaged a/c.

I found it in the notams, runway should be available in a few hours.

Anyone has more info? Type, incident?

Tia

/edit Notams have been edited, no reference any more to damaged a/c on the runway. Original notam stated that they had difficulties removing a/c from rwy.

stopped t/o gone bad

A Meridiana MD 80 stopped t/o and wheel got stuck in the dirt/mud last night around 2200Z. Had to wait until this morning for airplane to be removed.Seems it is reopened but flights are still late in landing and takeoff. Many re-routed to Palermo.
