Incident: Egypt Express E170 at Sharm el Sheikh on Dec 24th 2008, lost nose wheel after takeoff
By Simon Hradecky, created Wednesday, Dec 24th 2008 15:55Z, last updated Wednesday, Dec 24th 2008 18:23ZThe crew of an Egypt Air Express Embraer ERJ-170, flight MS-363 from Sharm el Sheikh to Luxor (Egypt) with 62 people on board, reported nose gear trouble after takeoff from Sharm el Sheikh and decided to divert to Cairo International Airport, where the airplane landed safely with just one nose wheel, while the second nose wheel was missing.
