CONCORDE: Welcome Back & Good Luck
Great to see the beautiful bird back in her rightful place as the only commercial SST in service.
She maybe long in the tooth(as well as nose!) but she still makes a great impresion wherever she goes...she looks as good if not better as the month she did during the 'hot weather soak testing' in Bahrain in 1974...
I was a lucky 'volunteer' as spotty teenager to go as a 'guinea-pig' on the flights up and down the Gulf!!
Shame BA didnt give her more pre-re-launch publicity by allowing a fly past/attendance at the Dubai 2001 Air Show...A great PR opportunity for BA and Dubai has been missed!!
