this isnt a new airline but a charter brand run by Club Travel 2000 who are based in MAN, they have a history of chartering the cheapest of the cheap, usually using SCY and ABD and next year probably the Transjet Jumbos, and who knows maybe some Guvnair L1011's if the gun runners dont buy them all they are cheap and cheerful anyway so god knows what their low cost arm will be like, if you are ever involved in any of their flights you always know because all the pax always seem to be sponsored by 'VODAFONE'

Oh no not again. There's one cheap and nasty outfit every year. Seven Air, Nordic, Peach Air, Islandflug. They generally run hours if not days late and then some slope off just before the end of the season, leaving behind unpaid bills.

Oh yes HST, here we go again.....!!!!
Foreign crews flying old 5th generation equipment on foreign registrations, bald tyres & more hours on the clock than Cpt Pontious, taking good money from good honest punters & leaving them high & dry & dissapearing off into the night bills unpaid....
When will somebody in authority put an end to this nonsence so that decent charter operators can make an honest crust & keep British Aviation profesionals employed & of the dole heap.

There is never a dull moment in the summer with charter ops at NCL NCL would not be the same without it! However I don't see the connection between the airlines listed and SCY/XLA.
Seven Air - Riled the passengers before they even got on the aircraft due to it's inability to ever get home from Kefalonia (and other places) on time. Nice crews, however the lack of IFE, and any form of presentation on that contract was not well recieved on the TFS run.
Peach Air - Never had a base, and never got out of ZTH before the night flying restriction became effective! Alternatively, never got out with the bags, which followed the next day!
------------------------------------------------
NORDIC - Remember the Saturday AGP (STD 0600) departing when the Saturday night IBZ (approx departure time 2245) was all checked in and ready to go? The Sunday FAO arriving back on Tuesday!
Very nice people, great aircraft - just no technical reliance, and no comment (either way) about the ownership. The contract was ended early in grand dramatic fashion, however mud tends to stick to those who worked for NOD which is sometimes unfair.
-------------------------------------------------
AIR SCANDIC - Always gets a mention, but there are many people who categorise without actually knowing. I am not crew for this airline, however do know the facts. Just because the Big Man himself looked after the NCL/MAN NORDIC operation in 1997 and then successfully launched SCANDIC this does not mean they are the same company! NORDIC is gone! So many people say it but mud does stick; SCY also had a shaky start, however they are getting it right now. Last summer season proved that. They are also the highest paying charter carrier in terms of crew salaries out of Newcastle, and passed the audit by Finnair remarkably well.
cheers,
