Finnair Airbus 320 evacuation at HEL
On Sat 159 pax & six crew members were evacuated due to a fire in the landing gear at the HEL terminal. The A/C had just landed and the incident did not cause any fatalities or injuries.
Initially the cause of the fire may have been hydraulic oil leak in the landing gear.

"at the HEL terminal"!
So was it a precautionary evacuation via the airbridge/main passenger steps or was it a proper evacuation with slides?
Just curious as it seems from the info that it probably wasnt overheated breaks!

I would like to see, just for curiosity, a MPL FFS licenced pilot flying on 60 kts gusting winds with a 20 kts CW landing with CAT I minima in the winter with blowing snow and splippery 40M wide RWY at KEF with 200 pax behind, itīs just the kind of stuff you donīt learn in the sim, we couldnīt even get the ramps to the airplanes!!!!!!!!!
