Wink Virgin Atlantic Shorthaul flights

Will Virgin Atlantic be expanding on their shorthaul flights to destinations around Europe?. .They seem to have a couple of useful Airbus 320/321, and since they have just made an order with airbus for longhaul A340-600's, why are they not concentrating on developing shorthaul routes?

VS operated 321's on LHR - ATH but this route was dropped post 9/11. Virgin Express operate 737's on shorthaul out of BRU but this is a completely different company to Virgin Atlantic.

For your information - This is a question and not "Rumours or News" and should really be in the "Questions" forum.

Thinking about it should really be on <a href="http://www.airliners.net" target="_blank">www.airliners.net</a> !!
