Cool

CityBird, I'd guess?

Next up will be the ones painted in blue/white; then the red ones...

About the only people who have the faintest idea of how to run an airline in Europe at the moment are the guys with the harps on the tail...

Where is this industry heading to?
Just some newsbits: AA's load factor down 4.1 percent, UAL's shares to lose over 26 cent, LH Cargo expecting profits to "collapse" over this year, many complain about high-yield pax fading.
Might be more than just a little hick-up. And even tougher times to come to Europe like you mentioned above...Wonder how to get out of this.

what will happen in europe ?

great airlines will disappear like before in the usa (Pan Am, TWA, Eastern etc.)

maybe in 50 years there will only still exist some great european airlines (for example beneluxair the airline of belgium,
the netherlands and luxembourg).

wait and see .....

Basically agree with that. However some airlines seem to prosper without belonging to alliances: Southwest, JetBlue, Continental.
Happy holiday to the states!
