Good timing, AA avoided a strike over the 4th of July week end.
OR would the "Cooling Off" period have kicked in?
(Or what's his name, in the White House: W, did he not promise no more strikes for The Hard Working American People.. )
How things in NY Wino?

The cooling off period would have kicked in. The flight Attendants could not have striked untill Sept 1. However, I would imagine that during that cooling off period it would be very difficult to get the F/A's to smile at the pax.
They have settled with the Mechanics and now the F/A's. They also just finally finished the LOA about the TWA LLC. It looks like management might be serious about avoiding labor troubles. I certainly hope so.
Pilots exchange Openners on July 24. Hopefully that goes smoothly as well.
It will take a decade slay the ghost of Crandall, but this could be a very good beginning to it.
Cheers
