Question Airtours DC10 Off Piste at Luton?

Looked like an Airtours DC10 surrounded by Fire Trucks at Luton this afternoon. From our vantage point in the overhead , it might even have had a wheel off piste. Does anybody know more?

Apparently it had a hydralic leak.
Was fixed and was back in the air a couple of hours later.

Exclamation

Looked more like hot brakes to me. Smoke from the undercarriage was visible.

As far as I'm lead to believe it was a Hydralic leak onto hot brakes. I think the aircraft was back in ops fairly quickly.

Cool

ILS 27R/Barabus.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

Why would you possibly want to, or indeed need to know?

This was a total non event. Monarch Engineers fixed it in about 30 secs and that was that. Sorry, no story here.
