Sabena...game over
Just on Belgian television, Sabena has filed for bankruptcy....after City Bird the second Belgian company to go this year....Unfortunately, I was working as senior cabin crew for both of them and feel very sad I am forced to leave the aviation business in Belgium...I presume I am not the only one affected...Happy landings to all the others.

Since I am not a lawyer familiar with European bankruptcy laws, could you tell me what "bankruptcy" really means - is there a reorganizaiton period - or is that just it and Sabena is just a memory?
Is it similar to the US form of bankruptcy where companies are really given a second chance - or is it final?
Appreciate someone enlightening me on the distinction...
