It was gusting in excess of 35 knots straight across the runway at around 17:15z this evening which stopped things for most operators although some were able to accept it.

Perhaps there was a mishap as a result?

A300 cargo

Land tonight at 23:45 Z. Airbus A300 cargo out of runway 26L. Lot's of blue lights around him. Look like there was another incident with an El Al flight earlier one??

The weather was horrible - right near limits for us. Many go-arounds and aircraft sat at the threshold unable to take off due crosswind outside limits. Bumpy as f$%k !!

The incident was on 26L at around 1900-1930Z. Company said an Air France cargo plane off the runway in the mud but not sure. Initially airport closed to us for 20 mins but then open again and normal approach (ATC wise) to 27R. 26R was then being used for landings and it seemed all take-offs from 27L.

Obviously no big deal as I cannot find any details elsewhere.

It is an A300-600 freighter from Air Atlanta Icelandic under AF flight number.

I landed on 26R this morning, and had a good point of view

Just came back from CDG...

Saw the aircraft during our take-off roll. It appeared allright albeit having at least the left main landing gear off the left side of 26L. No apparent damage from the quick look we had (AP on at 35ft, don't worry guys )
