Thumbs down Engine Fire at EGCC

Little bit of drama at Manchester last night when the "Fedex" Short Shed reported an engine fire shortly after departure. The German registered aircraft is operated by Farnair ( I believe) and made a quick return for a safe landing. The runway was blocked for about 10 minutes and the aircraft is now on the "South bay" awaiting IRAN.

Glad it all worked out OK.....
