Exclamation Luton Eco Friendly Policy...

Heard on the news this AM that Luton Airport is asking passengers for a voluntary donation of 0.2p per mile they intend to travel by plane.

Luton airport will then use this to plant trees - didn't mention what they were contributing though - maybe just taking all the credit

Drove past Percy House today and there were mopeds and a dingy in the car park, don’t know the connection with the environment day though, but that was the reason for them being there together with an exhibition in the terminal.

All monies raised will contribute to tree planting in Luton. Trees eat nasty airborne chemicals that come from planes and cars according to the press release.

Interesting initative though.

Luton's local radio station reckons that easyJet and TBI have come to a deal for beyond Aug 1st!
