I'm in Dyce and just had a look - no blue lights and aircraft traffic is normal.

Seemed strange to us too. Got a halt call on the ABZ due to a runway incident. 15 mins later everything back to normal and off they went. I take it there were crossed wires somewhere

What was the weather at ABZ? If it was windy that would probably account for the "bucking and bouncing". Otherwise sounds like a job well done to me.

At least he complemented the crew handling and didn't mention compensation.

The worst part of it was I believe that they lost all flight-deck instrumentation.
Voice recorder playback..

Are they under your seat? Nope. They must be around here somewhere. I remember we had instruments when we took off.
