LH434 emergency

Looks like LH434 (A340 from MUC to ORD) has turned around over the Channel and heading for BRU.

Anyone know something about it ?

OnBlocks in BRU at 0934Z, scheduled OffBlocks to continue flight to ORD is 1015Z.

With that short ground time my guess is a medical emergency.

Seems like a non-event.

Not a great day for Lufty, they had an aircraft divert into Cologne this morning on a Mayday with electrical smoke.

Not a lot, it was about 0400Z on a Maastricht frequency. Mate who heard it told me about it in the crew room but the absence of any further news suggests all turned out OK.

Point taken. But rather an unspectacular event.

Anyway - flight departed BRU at 1131Z, estimate arrival ORD is 1942Z.
