COLOMBO, Aug 18 (AFP) - A Sri Lankan military jet crashed Saturday near the country's international airport, officials said. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Military officials said the Russian-built Mig-27 aircraft crashed at the Katunayake airbase which is situated next to the Bandaranaike International airport. No further details were immediately available.
