747 Blows 8 tyres at Hannover

I don't know anything about this incident, but problems with the anti-skid will burst tyres. We managed to burst 14 tyres on a 747-100 (G-BDPV) at Everett in April 1976.

That's nothing. You should see how many tires concorde got through.

So much rubber went under that plane, the michelin man would look as though we was on a subway diet!
