Post Some safety practices - Questions..

Dear All

Would appreciate your opinions and your own airlines practices...on the questions below.

1. Dimmed cabin lights during Night time landings.. Should they be dimmed or not ?? Is there any regulations on this practice..

2. In 737 aircraft with TV monitors in cieling above cabin aisle (central aisle.. Should these televisions be raised back into the cieling during landing and takeoff.. Since they are designed to retract into the cabin cieling.

Your opinions and own airlines practices would be appreciated..

Many thanks

Lights in the cabin are dimmed during night take off and landing to enhance "night vision" in case of an evacuation.

TV monitors are normally retracted during take off and landing.
