Question Rod in the back?

Today's papers quote Rocking Rod saying that he was having to travel to NY today in World Traveller Plus, because all 1st and Club seats were taken.

Can anyone confirm whether this was the case, or is it just "Boss speak" ?

Bet he can't wait for Concorde to be back in the air. Those are never full, and no bu**er is going to steal seat 1B from him on that!

No idea whether true or not, but I hope so.

I have long thought that it was a big mistake for BA and other carriers senior management to always travel in first.
They are missing a huge opportunity to experience what the majority of their customers experience - economy. If they had to experience how awful it is, I suspect economy would very quickly get much better.

There seems to be some confusion here between Rocking Rod Stewart and Rocking Rod Eddington I think...
