Smile Hopes begin to fade at top Aviation Museum

Officials at the Aviation museum in Bejing have been privately dismayed at the turn of events.
It had been proposed by supporters at a major Western internet site, visited daily by thousands of Aviation experts, that the recent visit of a unique foreign aircraft would be followed by it being placed there as a prize exhibit and memorial to an aviation hero of The Peoples Republic.
Hopes are however beginning to fade as it is becoming apparent that the planes owners appear to want the plane back despite it's not being in an airworthy condition.
"This one was going to be a real crowd puller" one official was reputed to have said. "We still are hoping that the Government will stand firm on this but it could go either way. We hear that they have allowed some foreign officials access to it. We are baffled by this"
