Emerald Airways AOC Revoked??

Hi All,

Im new to this as a member although I have been an avid viewer for some period of time.

I have just been advised that Emerald Airways AOC was revoked by the CAA last night, has anyone else heard news to this effect or got any info??

Sad news for the employees if so, I wish them all well.

A great shame for all the hard workers at the company.

Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.

British Aviation

What is ahppenning woth our aviation industrie two regional operators within a short space of time.

Can any one answer the question

Is it due to a number of reasons like not enough support from the CAA???.

It will ba sad if the problems at Emerald cannot be resolved quickly , the longer it takes it will be difficult to get the customers back as other operators like some European operators will take the cream off anything that might be around.

The fleet of Budgies must have some life left and it will be very sad if they cannot be feed some more trill to get them back amongst the clouds.

The two incidents that happened in the Channel Islands a couple of months ago might not have helped.

I wish all the best and do hope some good will come out.
