Im just rather curious from looking at the picture of the plane with the slides deployed. If the Fire Tenders were concentrating foam on the APU to the effect that the cabin crew blocked the rear exits and directed everyone forward....surely the passengers who opened and evacuated through the overwing exits would have come off the slide just a few meters forward of the APU would have been covered in foam????
