Whilst appreciating that the Moderators are busy, would it be too much to ask that if threads are closed a reason is given, and if they are moved a link is added, or at least a pointer to where it's been moved? Plenty of seemingly innocent threads have been closed recently, and there must be a good reason - all I'm suggesting is that we are privy to the reason as and when it happens.. .. .Cheers.

It is very unusual for us to "close" threads, and if we do, we usually give the reason.. .. .Most of the time, the padlock appears because we have moved threads to a more appropriate forum. This is usually indicated on the top left hand side of the thread , stating where the thread now lives.. .. .H
